Community Benefits
Community benefits are contractual agreements that can be included in public contracts and frameworks between a contracting authority and a supplier.
Public procurement has a responsibility to supply its local communities through its contract spend and is obligated to deliver benefits through public procurement regulations.
Community benefits is not a funding pot where funds will be accessed and exchanged but they can support volunteering projects, assistance with community facilities, environmental proposals and much more.
There are a number of ways that third sector organisations can advertise projects which would be assisted by receiving these community benefits.
