The Perth & Kinross Anti-Poverty Taskforce is here to address poverty in Perth & Kinross through a commitment to collaboration, coordination, and inclusivity.

By fostering partnerships across sectors, we aim to coordinate effective strategies that drive tangible change and create a more equitable future for all in Perth & Kinross.

This Taskforce brings together representatives from the public, private and third sectors and includes many third sector organisations who are providing on-the-ground support to people facing poverty in Perth & Kinross. See below for a full list of members.

Our Objectives

  • Address the rising cost of living.
  • Increase income from employment.
  • Maximise income from social security and other benefits.
  • Reduce stigma and promote available support.

Our Outcomes

  • Individuals and families can meet their basic needs and live comfortably.
  • Individuals and families are supported into fair, sustainable employment.
  • Individuals and families receive all benefits they are entitled to.
  • Stakeholders collaborate to share information and best practises, reducing stigma and tackling poverty together.
