Home » News » Perth & Kinross Anti-Poverty Taskforce – 2025 Annual Report

Introduction

From launching our five-year Action Plan to strengthening partnerships and community engagement, 2025 saw meaningful progress across Perth & Kinross. While challenges remain for many local families, continued collaboration is making a real difference.

The APTF Annual Report 2025 outlines a year of strengthened collaboration, clearer governance, and more coordinated action across public services, the third sector, health partners and community organisations. It highlights progress across key thematic areas (financial insecurity, employability, public debt and transport) as well as the delivery of community support events that connected people to advice, income support and essential services across urban and rural areas.

The report also sets out priorities for the year ahead, focusing on delivering the Action Plan, improving data and accountability, embedding lived experience, and driving long-term system change. We invite partners, stakeholders and the wider public to read the full report below and learn more about how, together, we are working towards a Perth & Kinross where everyone can live well, free from poverty and inequality.
