Tayside Contracts Community Fund will reopen on 1 September.
‘If you are a charity or a constituted community group, and you think we could provide a service to you, then you may want to consider our Community Fund. We do the work for you, and the Community Fund picks up the cost up to the maximum of £3,000.’
Projects they can support include:
- Carrying out road and footway improvements
- Making repairs to community facilities such as community hall car parks
- Digging trenches for rural community broadband schemes
- Providing food or catering for a community or charity event
- Providing signage via their Sign Shop for a range of community needs
- Providing traffic management for a community event

PKC’s Warm Welcome Fund Workshops are scheduled throughout September.
‘We are pleased to invite Community Groups or Organisations in Perth & Kinross to Proposal Workshops for the Warm Welcome Fund (formerly Cost of Living Fund).
This workshop aims to bring together interested groups to collaborate, plan and strengthen their proposals together. This will involve group sharing of ideas and feedback, with a focus to refine their offer and find synergies between projects.
If your group or organisation would like to apply for funding, we strongly encourage the presence of a representative in the relevant ward area workshop.’
Upcoming workshops include Carse of Gowrie (4 September), Perth City South (7 September), Blairgowrie and the Glens (11 September), Strathmore and Strathearn (12 September), and Strathallan (14 September).

LNER Customer And Community Investment Fund is open until 24 September.
The core themes the fund supports are mental health, education and employability skills amongst marginalised groups, diversity and inclusion, and environmental sustainability (especially biodiversity, sustainable travel, waste reduction and the circular economy).

SCVO’s Community Learning and Development Device Fund is open until 29 September.
The Community Learning and Development Device Fund is provided by the Scottish Government and managed by SCVO. The objective of the fund is to provide capital funding to community learning and development (CLD) organisations across Scotland to purchase digital devices that can be used by learners to support their learning.
Organisations must retain ownership of the devices for their lifetime and be responsible for set-up, ongoing management and security of devices.

The Democracy Matters Community Engagement Fund 2023 – 2024 is now open.
The fund opened for applications on 28 August and will close on Friday 26th January 2024. Funded activity must take place between 28th August and 14th February 2024. Grants of up to £300 are available on a rolling basis during the fund period and must be used to support conversations, events or gatherings in person or online.
The Fund will:
Support organisations and groups to host conversations and gather the views of people across Scotland on how we can create a system of inclusive local democracy;
Reach out to all communities across Scotland no matter how small, large or what their geographical influences are;
Reach out to marginalised individuals and communities whose voices are not heard.
