“It’s my mission to work in partnership with organisations developing leadership and management good practice, facilitating positive change, and creating great places to work.
My background of corporate and SME, private and third sector HR leadership across a variety of industries has enabled me to develop skills and knowledge in almost all aspects of employment and HR from structural reviews, strategic people planning and change management, to shaping and implementing the foundations required to build a ‘people first’ culture in organisations.
I founded Activate-HR Ltd in 2015 and this has enabled me to build long term partnerships and provide both strategic and generalist HR support to a client base of private and third sector organisations across Scotland.
Having delivered long- and short-term projects and solutions to over 30 charities in the past 7 years, I believe I have a good understanding of and can provide effective solutions to the ever-changing needs, challenges and opportunities that exist in relation to employment and HR in the third sector.
I have served as a Trustee on the Boards of two charities in Dundee and I am currently part of Inspiring Scotland’s Specialist Volunteer Network working to support third sector organisations nationally.
