Home » News » Third Sector PK Newsletter: August 2024

Vacancies in PK TSI, free financial training, funding for community-based projects and more: here’s our most recent newsletter for the voluntary sector in Perth & Kinross. Join today for third sector news and the latest funding, development and engagement opportunities.

We’re excited to share two opportunities to join our team and take part in our work supporting organisations and advocating for the third sector of Perth and Kinross:

Both roles are home-based with flexible working options.

If you have strong planning and communication skills and are seeking collaborative, community-based work, we’d love to hear from you by 2 September.

We also appreciate you sharing this opportunity with your networks.

Recently, some of our colleagues moved onto new roles, creating this opportunity for our service to grow. As a result, we’re a smaller team than usual and may take longer to respond to inquiries. We appreciate your patience until we’re back at full capacity.

In the meantime, our commitment to third sector capacity building hasn’t slowed down.

On 25 September, you can join peers in the sector for a free day of training and networking, focusing on how to manage your organisation’s budget:

Register for the ‘Budgeting for Non-Finance Managers’ course

This autumn, we’ll also be accepting application for the next round of The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for Adults.

Look out for an update from us the week of 16 September, when we’ll announce the deadlines and share more information about the fund.

Thanks for catching up with our news. That’s all from us, but read on for updates and opportunities from across the voluntary sector.
