Here are funding opportunities with approaching deadlines, new and renewed funds, and ongoing opportunities to develop your work in Perth & Kinross’s voluntary sector.

Last chance to apply

The Essentia Foundation Fund supports community improving health and social care and providing educational and employment opportunities to children and young people. Apply by 24 June.

The Neighbourhood Ecosystem Fund from Inspiring Scotland support community groups in their efforts to develop local ecosystem restoration projects. Apply by 3 July. 

New fund alerts

The 2024-25 Adult Learning in the Community Fund from PKC is funding projects that offer formal and informal learning opportunities in the community. Learn more and apply.

The Culture & Business Fund Scotland just launched to support partnerships between Scottish businesses and arts and heritage organisations and deliver new arts and heritage projects. Learn more and express your interest.

The 2024 Action Earth Grants support any group of volunteers running environmental activities in Scotland’s urban areas. Apply by 31 January, 2025.

Community Development

  • The Arnold Clark Community Fund provides funding for cost-of-living and community support to organisations located within 50 miles of an Arnold Clark branch. Learn more.
  • The Skipton Building Society Charitable Foundation provides grants to registered charities who support disadvantaged groups with projects that support wellbeing and combat the effects of poverty and isolation. Learn more.
  • The Persimmon Homes Community Champions initiative provides donations to community organisations based near a Persimmon Homes Office, which includes an office in Perth (PH1). Learn more.  
  • The Scotmid Community Grant schemeprovides grants of up to £500 to a range of projects led by charities and community groups. Learn more.

Arts and Culture

  • The National Lottery Open Fund supports organisations leading creative activities or initiating development projects to become more sustainable. Learn more.
  • The Cookie Matheson Charitable Trust supports projects with a musical or visual arts theme, with an emphasis on Dundee and Tayside-based projects. Learn more and apply.
