Third Sector PK Funding Update: August 2024

Here’s our most recent funding newsletter for the voluntary sector in Perth & Kinross. Join today for third sector news and the latest funding, development and engagement opportunities.

Good morning,

Here are two exciting new funds supporting flexible working and local communities, and an opportunity to offer feedback for the next Scottish Budget.

Scottish Government just announced a fund to support charities and other employers to become more flexible and adopt fair work practices.

We’re excited to see the Government prioritise flexible working, which creates a healthier workforce and a more equal society.

Scottish Government is also gathering views on third sector funding ahead of the 2025-2026 budget. Third sector organisations and funders are welcome to take part in this online consultation.

As this much-needed conversation takes place, we want to ensure all organisations have the chance to make their voices heard.

Third sector organisations in Perth and Kinross who receive statutory funding are invited to offer feedback at an in-person workshop in Dundee on 21 August.

Locally, the Community Investment Fund is ready to accept applications for 2024-2025. Since 2018, this fund has been supporting projects that tackle local issues and improve quality of life here in Perth and Kinross.

The CLD team is also hosting in-person workshops for organisations to drop in and discuss their project ideas on 1, 20, and 22 August.

We hope these developments are helpful for you. Read on for further professional opportunities in the Perth and Kinross third sector.
