Perthshire Women’s Aid is offering training and seeking co-facilitators for the next session of the Cedar group work programme:
Are you interested in a new opportunity and supporting families that are recovering from domestic abuse? Would you like an opportunity to extend your professional development?
Cedar is a unique group work programme that supports children and young people aged 5-16 years and their mothers who are recovering from domestic abuse.
Cedar needs the skills and qualities of people that have experience working with children, young people, and adults.
Each group runs for a few hours a week over a 12-week period within school term.
If you are interested in helping to co-facilitate a group work programme, the training for this role will be over a 2-day period:
- Tuesday, 31 January 10am-1pm
- Wednesday, 1 February 10am – 4.30pm
Groups will be commencing on the week beginning 19 February.
This opportunity is for women only (minimum age 18).
To take part in this training and volunteer in the group work programme, please send an email to Kim and Laura, who lead the Cedar Project:
