Building stronger communities through collaboration and support.
On Thursday 9th October we hosted an online session with Phillippa MacDonald from the Public Health Directorate, NHS Tayside and Richard McIntosh from the NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation. The event brought together community groups, third-sector organisations, and partners to learn about the Community Benefits Gateway and funding opportunities available through the Foundation.
Community Benefit Gateway – Leveraging Local Impact
Phillippa introduced the NHS Scotland Community Benefit Gateway (CBG) – an online platform designed to connect NHS suppliers with third-sector organisations. This initiative is part of NHS Scotland’s role as an anchor institution, supporting community wealth building by ensuring more resources stay within local communities.
NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation – Funding Opportunities
Richard McIntosh gave an overview of the NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation, including its funding priorities and how local charities and social enterprises can apply.
